Most people fail to check their eyes once a year. This is important, not just to see if your eye prescription has changed, but many health-related matters can be discovered through a routine eye exam. For instance, some systemic problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and even certain forms of cancer, can be detected through an examination of your eyes.
