Dr. Silverstein received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He completed his internship in Straight Medicine at the University of South Carolina, and completed residencies in Ophthalmology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in Bronx, New York and St. Clare's Hospital Center in New York City.
